Before you are able to use Arke at a building, you will need:
- A confirmed Arke account setup to use with the app
- The phone number of your account mapped to the access control system at your building(s)
The Arke account allows you to access your visits and invite people, whereas the phone number mapping connects your account to your building(s).
Both need to be completed before you can invite people. You can read our article on creating an account here, which explains the process of creating an Arke account.
A welcome message is sent when you are a mapped to a site but without having an account, so that article starts from at the point of receiving a welcome message.
If you have signed up for an account without first receiving your welcome message, you will need to contact your property or estate manager to have them add you to the access system on site.
Once you’ve been added to the Arke system, you will receive a text message saying your account has been mapped to the site. You can now welcome your visitors with ease.
